  • Laughter.

    Laughter increases heart and respiratory rates as well as oxygen consumption over a short period. After these initial changes, a person moves into a state of relaxation.

  • Nature.

    Time in nature — as long as people feel safe — is an antidote for stress and studies point to two hours a week as the amount of time to give you the most amount of benefits.

  • Friendship.

    One or two genuine and deep friendships are all we might need to help each other successfully through hard time.

  • Meditation

    Mindfulness meditation helps us build resilience and self awareness.

  • Savoring

    Which state do you nurture? Anger, fear, or worry? Or contentment, joy and love? It requires focus and intention, but we can decide what to focus on in support of our well being.
